Baptisms
Baptisms are celebrated every third Saturday of the month (pending approval). Arrangements must be made in advance. Parents and Godparents must attend a Pre-Baptismal class. Class is held on the first saturday of the month 5:00PM to 8:00pm in St. Hedwig. The class we offer is in spanish, We do accept certificates of completion from other parishes.
The Catholic Church requires that at least one of the parents and one of the godparents be active, practicing Catholics. Parents requesting Baptism should contact the secretary through the Rectory Office at (313) 894-5409.

* A 2.9% + $0.30 fee is taken from each donation amount given to the church. Please take that into consideration when making your donation.
