Who we are

We are a Catholic parish in Southwest Detroit, comprising two beautiful historic churches. Our community is strong and committed, working together to proclaim the Word of God through evangelization, formation, and prayer.

Our History
|
St. Francis D'Assisi Church and St. Hedwig Church merged on July 1 2013. Both churches have a rich and established history that continues today. Make sure to check out the history of each church under "Our Story."

Somos una parroquia católica en el suroeste de Detroit, conformada por dos iglesias históricas de gran belleza. Nuestra comunidad, sólida y comprometida, trabaja unida para proclamar la Palabra de Dios a través de la evangelización, la formación y la oración.

Nuestra Historia |
La Iglesia St. Francis D’Assisi y la Iglesia St. Hedwig se unieron el 1 de julio de 2013. Ambas iglesias tienen una historia rica y bien establecida que continúa hasta el día de hoy
